MedVault

Overview

MedVault is a native iOS app for a private medical clinic group in Malaysia, giving patients secure access to their health records, lab results, and appointment history — and letting them book follow-up appointments without calling the clinic.

The challenge

Patient records were stored across three disconnected systems. Patients had to call or visit in person to get results or book appointments. The clinic group wanted a patient-facing app that felt trustworthy and met local data privacy requirements.

Our solution

We built a native Swift app with end-to-end encryption for all health data, HealthKit integration for vitals sync, and a clean appointment booking flow. The backend uses Firebase with strict security rules and a custom audit log for compliance. We worked closely with the clinic's IT team throughout to ensure the integration met their internal standards.
