FieldOps

Overview

FieldOps is a native Android app for a facilities management company in Australia, replacing paper job sheets and phone-based dispatch with a structured digital workflow for 200+ field technicians.

The challenge

Technicians were receiving jobs via phone call and filling in paper forms on-site. Office staff spent hours each day manually entering data from scanned forms. Jobs were being lost, duplicated, and billed incorrectly. The client needed a rugged, offline-capable Android app that worked on their existing device fleet.

Our solution

We built a native Kotlin app with Jetpack Compose, optimised for the ruggedised Android tablets the client already owned. The app works fully offline — jobs sync when connectivity is restored. Technicians can capture photos, collect digital signatures, and complete checklists on-site. The dispatcher dashboard is a web app we built alongside the mobile app.
